About
EDUCATION:
BA in English Literature, Rosemont College, Rosemont, PA
MSLS in Library Science, Villanova University, Villanova, PA
BACKGROUND:
When I stepped away from my professional career in 2000 I began to paint seriously. At that time I had the privilege of meeting Bucks County artist James Feehan. Under his guidance I launched a new career path dedicated to painting still life subjects. The availability of instructional materials, workshops, galleries and museums broadened my vision. As a docent at the James Michener Art Museum in Doylestown, PA, I continued to gain insight into style and technique. The journey to the present has been both satisfying and rewarding. I have been juried into prestigious shows and have won awards. Many of my paintings are in private collections as well as the Trenton City Museum. The journey is far from over, however, for each painting presents new challenges and the joy of successful completion.
